For some reason unbeknownst to me, I visited the Occupy Democrats FB page. With less than five minutes of scrolling and reading comments, my ears were smoking and my face could've controlled traffic at an intersection. I know, I know, it's like climbing a ladder when you know you're afraid of heights; I should've known better. Sorry to take up your INGO time but I had to vent somewhere.

Even listening to some conservative commentators will do that for me...because they are only talking about libs. I know what their opinion is without them saying it, then they say it and I get mad, so why turn them on to hear what I know they are going to say?

Some people just have a different world view. What is sensible and right and just to them is abhorrent to you, and visa versa. It's hard to get someone who views the world differently from me to not think I'm an alien from another planet.

I feel like that sometimes here, then I realize "it's the internet" and move on with the rest of my day.
The world is full of liberals and more are born daily. The fight for freedom will never end. Personally, I do my best to avoid them but some are in extended family so I just roll with it. Wife's nephews wife is sis in law to a liberal US Senator. She loves to bait me at family gatherings.

I do in fact hate liberals. Liberal leaning teachers have taken their "progressive" nonsense and insist on filling our kids heads with their beliefs and modified history. By the time they're 18 our children have hopefully learned the 3 R's but most certainly have been subjected to endless liberal nonsense. Just in time to vote and proceed on to the Socialist University of their choice, for the final years of their indoctrination.

I wish we could stop hating liberals. They've jacked a perfectly reasonable political stance. Can we call them what they are - progressive socialists?

Yes liberals are a low lot. Many are very hypocritical. The worst are often the white liberals. While sending their kids to private schools and living in the best gated communities they want to force failed social engineering policies on the rest of us and deny the most basic freedom of association with whom we choose.

Right on. HATE should be only reserved for situations and objects, not people. I hate traffic, I hate milk, I hate... It's more of a figure of speech. However, the word grows teeth when attached to a person or group of people. I find that HATE require a tremendous amount of energy to maintain that should be spent on more productive pursuits.
