Same rear axle and brakes between a single rear wheel and dually regardless of 3/4ton or 1ton.

That truck does NOT have airbags.

That is stupid to be doing that and puts everyone around him in harms way.

    Flat stupid!

For those that asked yes the truck and trailer are both over weight, everything about it is illegal.

That's got to be near (or over) double the OE tow rating, and that's assuming he meant 2500HD and not actually plain old 2500. Just plain dumb.

as a risk manager...stop the heavy hauling and hire someone with the correct equipment before you kill someone.
as an engineer...you are pushing the design limit safety factors on many different systems on the pickup.

I looked at the picture again. Only one bolder should have been placed over the rear axles of the trailer. The other two boulders are playing havoc with your truck, it just has not shown up yet.

What about the 4th boulder? :):

*I agree with everything from Smiller's post to this post.

Or when you go around a sharper corner and bury the outside rear. They douchebags with the "rollin coal" sticker on the window...yeah, they don't need a dually.

I imagine turning could have some difficulties as well with all the weight pushing the rear of the truck down / front up. Looks like the front is about at ...errr.... past its limits already.

The funny thing is, 39,000lbs is close to what a semi hauls as a load.
Wonder why they need 18 wheels and air brakes and all that jazz?

I was the passenger in a heavily modified jeep CJ with a big V-8 pulling a boat. A BIG boat. Between the big motor and the gearing, that jeep had plenty of pulling power. It ended up not having enough chassis. While trying to avoid an accident on I-57, The boat pushed the jeep. When the jeep jack knifed, the last thing I saw out the jeep's door window was the starboard side window of the cuddy cabin before we rolled. I have been really nervous around light chassis tow vehicles ever since.

Slow rolling a heavy weight load through town is one thing, highway speeds are another.

I believe the Op started another epic thread a week or two ago. I'm hoping we don't see this truck in the classys stating its a solid runner no issues just some smoke.

Nice job on getting them loaded.

When you get to your destination how do you get your rocks off?

When I was in first grade, the neighbor kid and I used to occasionally find .22 cartridges while playing. We would lay them on his garage floor and hit them with a hammer. Never once got hurt or damaged anything; wasn't a smart thing to do. OP, glad that you have made it home safe and sound every time, I will wave as I put you in my rear view mirror.

Taking a picture of that and showing it off like it is something reasonable paints to the op as a man of questionable judgment.. When gravity finally prevails I feel bad for anyone other than the op who will be harmed by that mess.
