    Pretty neat how you can see the inner baffles on the Uzi suppressor, or at least I think that's what I'm seeing.

    Metal is OK for CT- it is preferable there is no metal over the scanned area (eg zips, jewellery) as it interferes with the scan quality. However they just have to make do if the metal can't be avoided (eg dental fillings, hip replacements). There is no danger of movement of the metallic object, as opposed to an MRI, which is essentially a big magnet.

    Just saying... They don't seem like true X-rays to me. The metal penetration seems off. I could be wrong, just a hunch. I look at medical X-rays, maybe industrial ones look different. I have looked at maybe 60,000 X-rays and these just seem off to me.

    CT (Computed Tomgraphy) is performed using x-radiation and then digitally processed. So they are a type of x-ray. Normally with CT one can take slices and look at layers like a 3D image.
