    Southeast of disorder.
It was a great day at the range. We had alot of fun. I just want to say a big thanks to John (obijohn), Tom, and Granger from ACT for helping get this off the ground and keeping us safe today. Also thanks to everyone that came out today. Hopefully we can do it again in the future!

    Now the pics!

It made the 1.5 hour trip there worth every minute just to shoot 2 rounds (as quickly as I could pump my forearm) through a mint condition m97 "trench sweeper" shotgun. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    More WWII Shoot 6/6/09 pics...

Thanks Kedie. Unfortunately my camera had a dirty lens so there is one spot that is fuzzy.

Some of these look like duplicates of Kedie's pictures but it was great meeting everyone and I had a great time. It is just too bad that I had to leave early.

Thanks to everyone for a great day, and the chance to shoot the legendary M1 Garand!! This was a great day to remember D-Day, shoot some awesome weaponry, and make some new friends.

Thanks, Kedie, for putting this together!

All my rifles thanks you for getting out in the sun for once. That was the first time I've shot my #1 Mk3 Enfield. It did good.

well I had a pretty good time on Saturday! Unfortunately for me all I had to contribute were a few Mosins, and after the first time shooting my 91/30 from prone, I have a nice yellow bruise to show for it! OUCH!

It was good to meet everyone, and thanks to everyone who brought out some good old WWII weaponry for me to shoot! I had the privilege to shoot a 1903, K98, M1 Garand, and M1 Carbine. What a blast, and I blame everyone there for making me add a significant number of rifles to my list of must haves! ;) One cool thing I learned after I got home and told my Dad about the day, is that he has one of the guns I put on that list..... a Winchester Model 97 shotgun! What a blast that thing must be to shoot but we ran out of ammo. (Ill find out tonight when I get home! :) )

Thanks again to kedie for putting everything together, thanks to the ACT guys for providing RSOs for the event, and thanks to everyone who brought out their guns and shared the experience! It was an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by true partiots on this day!

Hey! I've been out of town since this event. I had an awesome time, and so did my friends. Thanks to everyone for showing up and putting this together! For those of you that -- Let me shoot your Scoped Mauser, M1 Garand, Authentic WWII AR15, and whoever suggested pumpfiring that trenchgun, step forward to claim your rep point.

And EAT MORE HOT DOGS !

The one with the pump info was clay (post above yours)...THANKS for bringing that by the way. If we had to vote on the best collection I think you would be a shoe in!
