First off, this is just awesome!

I'm assuming this would be booked as a receiver on the 4473 correct? I'd love to pick one up, but I'm under 21.

This with a lightweight CAR upper would be awesome!

I am working on LPK's and uppers. What kind of upper would everyone want? I was thinking the lighter the better.

Heh, whichever would work best with handguards :D

And I'm 100% buying both from you if you get them in.

This would be my goal: The Cav Trooper

then I'd just need a couple 2nd ACR stickers :)

Being a gun newbie, would someone with only limited working knowledge on gun assembly be able to buy this lower, LPK, springs, etc and then get an upper and then be able to put it together so it's functional without employing a gunsmith?

FWIW: I didn't not find stripping, cleaning and reassembling my Taurus PT145 to be difficult.

    Two more questiosn:

When does the window for ordering close?

    and

Funds would be due upon pickup, correct?

Assembling a lower is easy. There are plenty of tutorials available online. You could always ask here if you run into trouble. Myself and others are AR armorers or have experience putting lowers together. You'll get plenty of good advice.

So whats the word on the uppers?

Also, just wondering a time frame on when these will be ordered/shipped/available for pick up? (I think I asked this once, but I can't find the answer..)

No word on the uppers, it appears that supply on AR parts is dwindling more and more. As far as the lowers go they are already ordered, waiting on production in March.
