I used to carry a G-22 on duty with a G-27 as BUG, off dut I carried a G-19. Funny because while I qualified with all three to carry, I just left the G-23 out of the equasion back then, Nowadays the G-23 I carry the most trading off with the G-27 more in the summer months. My g-19 sits in the safe, the G-22 in the trunk of the car, the G-23 or G-27 on me.

I use Federal 180 GR Wal-Mart range ammo, carry Speer 180 gr GDHP, and got a deal on Winchester white box for $11.59 a box of 50 (purchased 1,000 rds before store caught on to my buying 6-8 boxes at a time and changed price back to $19.99 a box of 50)................so enjoy your new friend I fire mine about once a quarter.

Nice setup! And I wish my Wal-Mart gave deals like that :):. The .40 cal is confidence inspiring I would say, nothing wrong with that.

I run WWB through my XDm compact 40. After I bought and shot the compact 40, I sold my 9mm that I had because I liked the 40 so much. I love that gun to no end, but now im in the market for another 9mm, lol...

I run blazer, runs cleaner and the loads seem to be a lot more even. WWD runs dirtier than a saturday night special at the one hour motel for me. Also have inconsistent loading every once in awhile I will get a shot that really flips the muzzle.

I have run blazer in several different calibers and always had good luck, if I see any of it on sale I will be picking it up! :D

If you want my snap out of the 9mm shoot it in a Darringer.

Congrats on the new gun. I had a G23 a long time ago and sold it. I regret it now, but I have several Glocks, so I didn't think anything of it at the time. I didn't even shoot it.

    Now I'd like to find a G22 and G27.

Congrats on the new Glock and your complementary glass of the patented Glock Kool-Aid. Honestly I'm not a fan of the 40, as you mentioned it is really snappy and if feels like they are just over-pressurizing a 9mm to me. IMHO, I go with either 9mm of 45acp, I'm not a huge fan of compromise. I like either lots of bullets(9mm) or lots of punch (45acp), but that's just me, YMMV. Enjoy the new Glock!

Thanks, I wouldn't mind trying a G23 as well but I know I will like the larger frame of the G22 better. I've tried the different sizes and I keep going back to full size! :D

Thanks, I love kool-aid. :D I still have several 9mm's and a .45, love them also. The G22 is just different and I think that's why I like it so much! :yesway:
