    Original(first pic).

All work thus far has been done by one man...me lol. I am having some help with the ceiling drywall. Other than that I am doing it all. Still waiting on my vanity light and mirror to arrive. I have a lighted vent fan to install and another light will go above/in front of the toilet. The linen closet has yet to be started. The pocket door was a pain to install level. I must have checked the level 20 times during the install,i still have to remove and stain/ boiled linseed oil it.

Today I removed all the trash. Did the tile. Then I took the living room to task.

I ended up sanding quite a bit. Then put down a coat of boiled linseed oil,it will need a second and maybe a third. All tools are now in the basement. Ready for some of my furniture almost(Saturday is the goal).

The living room went from this....to. How was your day? Mine was long. I know why I do not like moving lol.

And yes I stopped at the hall. I can do that one day when I do not need a kitchen.

Nice! You are moving fast...at least compared to me.

I've been on a basement remodel, well, finishing, since early September.

When I saw the sanded refinished floor this morning I was disappointed. I sanded almost half of it again. Here it is 8:30pm and I am getting ready to restain and put down another coat of linseed oil.

Keep up the good fight! I am finishing the ceiling in the media room, which is bead board, this weekend, then it’s on to concrete prep to acid stain and clear coat the floors.

Just recently finished the work at my new place. Changed every interior wall, including stair placement. Added 32x41 onto the back of it, which became the front. All new everything throughout. Hit some bumps along the way. Things I didn't think about and had to work around. Bad sub conbtractor. Pulled off for a while to work on another place.

But we are planning to spend the night there this evening!

Keep at it, don't get burned out, remember that you will be the toughest critic of your work. Most importantly be proud of what you have accomplished.

    Congrats

Had to take a break from the bathroom. I had water come in the basement when it rained. Water got high enough it came in around the sliding glass door...never again.Once I get the 4+ inches of mud, roots, and leaves off the rest of the ramp tomorrow I will put the metal grate over it and wash it all down for a function test.(the pump did kick on though lifting the float).

10 inchx 15 inch. A 1/2 horse sump would not fit by 1/2 inch. Had to go back and get a 1/3hp,but it is mostly done now. Week 3 at the new place lots to do still.

I filled the bottom with hydraulic cement.
