INGO has a funny pic thread, and a joke thread, maybe we need a "Word of the Day" thread. I will get it started with a new word I learned today.

I was reading a news story on the internet and saw a new and interesting word: HOPIUM

From the context I concluded the writer was referring to the state of mind of those poor souls who smoked the Obama pipe of Hope and Change and are now stumbling around in a drug induced stooper suffering the side effects of their actions as BO's popularity in the polls continues to fall.

Here is a link to a more authoritative definition:
    Urban Dictionary: hopium
I like my definition better than these "official" ones.

Who's next? Got a funny or new word or a new funny definition for an old word to share?

For those that gripe and moan about things, but do nothing but start E-petitions or cyber protests, I've always liked the word "Slacktivism".

I once had a graphic arts teacher whose favorite word was "squeegee". He just liked the way it sounded.
