Up for sale is a Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight in .270. This model was produced around 1980-81 and has the "Winchester Repeating Arms Company" recoil pad. Also included with the rifle is an older Redfield 2-7X scope with engraved mounts. My father purchased this new as his only big game rifle and never hunted with it. Gun has been shot less than 20 rounds over it's lifetime. I am not exaggerating when I say this gun is immaculate, there are NO scratches on wood or metal. There is a scratch at the base of one of the mounts. Dad passed last year and I have plenty of his other firearms for mementos, as well as my own big game rifles. This gun needs to be loved by someone who knows Winchesters!
