Yes this topic has come up a few times before but this looks like a legit resurfacing.

I don't know, I. Don't see them ratifying anything before christmas break and at that point it'll be shelved and with the big losses in the senate for dems, I don't see it having a chance. Even if they did try, I think there's not enough senators to vote for it, they'd have to get like 12 republicans to sign on to it. Ratifying a foreign treating requires a 2/3 magority vote, I don't think they've got enough votes.

I don't think it will happen. Not because our Senators are pro-liberty (which is really what pro-gun is), but just because they're worried about their reelection campaigns.

They can't even ratify START and in the beginning the all most agreed on that.

Don't know who is paying the bills for this, but I would imagine the noble senators are focusing on stuff they can take home for the holidays.
