Are there any wildcat reloaders here that frequent the forum? Or does anyone know of anyone that is good at and can make some good suggestions for a newbie with regards to reloading for the 17AH?

Perfection: is not a goal---it's a demanded expectation.
I have loaded wildcats for quite a few years however I have slowly seen almost all my wildcats slowly surpassed by new factory rounds. For example the 450 Marlin comes close to equaling my wildcat 450 Alaskan, my 375/338 is equaled now by the 375 Ruger, the 204 Ruger approaches the velocity of my 22 CHeetah, and of course the 300 whisper was copied to create the 300 Blackout.
The most common reason for shooting a wildcat is because no factory round offers the same ballistic advantage, in your case the 17 AH has been superseded by the 17 HH. If you want to go forward with the wildcat round other than forming the brass it is like reloading any centerfire rifle round. Find good load data, start at the low end, watch for signs of pressure. If you are having the rifle made I would have your reloading dies made with the same reamer that chambers your barrel for the best accuracy.
