My wife is running the Marine Corps Marathon for Team Fisher House. As a wounded veteran the Fisher House is an important organization to me. Fisher house gives a service members family a free place to stay next the military hospital that the service member is getting treatment at. Fisher house gets no DOD money. It is supported by donations.
My wife has pledged to raise $1000 for Team Fisher House. If you have wanted to help military families and just did not know how, a donation to Fisher House is the best way I can think of.
