    "I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials."

    -George Mason, Author of the Bill of Rights and the 2nd amendment.

    According to the Indiana Constitution Article 12;
    Section 1. A militia shall be provided and shall consist of all persons over the age of seventeen (17) years, except those persons who may be exempted by the laws of the United States or of this state. The militia may be divided into active and inactive classes and consist of such military organizations as may be provided by law.
    (History: As Amended November 3, 1936; November 5, 1974).

    That's pretty much everyone who's not a convicted Felon, a member of the Armed Forces, an ILLEGAL ALIEN, or in a loony bin, who can walk, see, hear, and carry a firearm.
    That's why we are a "Shall Issue" State. :D

    "The well regulated militia necessary to the security of a free state was a militia that might someday fight against a standing army raised and supported by a tyrannical national government. Obviously, for that reason, the Framers did not say "A Militia well regulated by the Congress, being necessary to the security of a free State" -- because a militia so regulated might not be separate enough from, or free enough from, the national government, in the sense of both physical and operational control, to preserve the "security of a free State."

    -Daniel J. Schultz

    Its everyone EXCEPT the government. We are expected to take down the US military. Yikes.

    I believe that if the SHTF many of our folks in uniform would stand by the oath we all swore to which is to," Defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC, so help me God". It would be a military divided. :patriot:

    Where's the bacon?
    So is INGO a miltia? If so sweet.

    No, INGO is not a militia. INGO is a computer bulletin board. The large majority of INGO members and for that matter, the large majority of society as a whole is the militia. INGO is a subset of that greater whole.

    That's how I see it.

    Blessings,
    Bill
