Where to go for a B14R rebarrel job.

I’m looking at all my options for upgrading my NRL22 rig.

• Getting an IBI B14R prefit.
• Having a smith rebarrel my action.
• Selling and going the complete custom route.

Who are the go to smiths for rimfire work? It would be nice to find someone local to Indy but I’m willing to drive some. Hoping to avoid having to ship a rifle action. Also it would be nice if I they didn’t keep my rifle for 6+ months.

Get a pre-fit. Cheapest &simplest.

If you were shooting benchrest or chasing Olympic golds I would suggest Mark Penrod , but considering your not but a pre-fit.

But before you do, why are you considering a rebarrel??
