it's a guys weekend, so my son and I went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 last night and had a great time. We got up this morning and cleaned the house as only men can do and then we headed to the range. My son had an awesome time and we had the range to ourselves for over an hour before anyone else showed up. :rockwoot:

We had a couple of friendly bets going on and his demonstrative actions can tell you if he met the challenge or not.

I can't wait to do this stuff with my daughter some day. She's not even 2 years old yet, but I can wait (barely). Looks like your little guy had a great time. He is definitely proud of that target!! Last pic is awesome, looks like a young soldier ready for some action!! Good times man, love to see this stuff, reminds me of how much I miss doing this with my dad!!

I envy a father like that. I never had that growing up! Continue to do with with your boy. That is something he will carry with him the rest of his life.

I need to get him a rifle that will allow him to learn the basics before he develops bad habits. I may look into that S&W AR 15-22.

That's great! Awesome father son bonding time well spent. And I heard a few learning opportunities in there (5 and 3, that's 8!), never mind the responsible gun handling. Awesome parenting all the way around!

And wearing that INGO hat to represent!

So Anthony, is the 10/22 working properly now?

Looks like the two of you had a good time.

Yeah, Joe Bell fixed it up pretty well and it runs great. It still has the cheap scope on it, but I was hitting 4" steel at 100 yards, so that's good enough for government work.
