Whats going on at Camp Dellwood?

Camp Dellwood a Girl Scout Camp is located here on Indy's westside around 21st and Girlschool Rd. Anyone over here know what's going on there? They have cut a new access/entrance into the woods and have cleared quite a few acres of timber for some reason. Just curious as to what's the reason.

Possible but, they have cleared it clear down to the dirt, not just sellable timber.

Was wondering this myself. I am not sure that the cleared parcel is owned by the 'scouts.

You may be right, I just always thought the Scouts owned the whole parcel of land on that corner. Maybe a new subdivision....

The GS of Central Indiana is moving their HQ to Dellwood and just broke ground on the new construction. It'll be going on for a while, but the camp will be open as usual for the summer.
