Disturbed is a good one for me for working out. Tool is my go to if I'm in the mood to hate the world and everyone in it.

A sample. Behold the crushing guitar (the whole song, and especially around 1:53). Sure to make you run faster and lift more.

This song came on just as I pulled off from a justified self defense shooting where a store clerk killed a robber. "There ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good" seemed to go with the theme of the day.

That one starts off my running playlist.

I love these guys. They greatly appeal to my hilljack roots. When you've got a man standing on a Lincoln pounding a drum like it slapped his wife, you've got my attention.

I'm not much of a Stones fan, but I remember hearing Start Me Up on the bus almost every morning at the same time in 8th grade. I wasn't awake until I heard it.
