I usually go back to visit some other brats that ended up staying every few years. Loved it out west. 2002, Germans were there at that time?

It seems like they were. A Detachment of the 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron and a secret squirrel unit came under the 53rd Wing where I worked.

last time i was there, the Raptors were in ther air. i think the fighting falcon/ viper is there now. must have been too expensive replacing shattered windows from the raptors in town.

I graduated McAllen High School, McAllen Texas, class of '74.
Yep, seven miles (at that time) from Reynosa, Mexico. About 65 miles from the mouth of the Rio Grande River and the Gulf Of Mexico.

Spent several Christmas in that area with my grandparents during the early to mid 70s. Walked to Reynosa a few times as a young kid. Couldn’t give me a good reason to go again
