Oh and still working on the outdoor bread oven at the retreat!

Lessee, the past 6-7 days. Ramped up combat fitness levels-more core stuff, more power and stamina work. Started the 0600 Bootcamp workouts with the fellas this week. Rolled sparred last week. Will do it again tomorrow night. Threw in some rucks.

Dry practiced 4 times-G19, J frame w/ speed strips, AK.

Went to the range once , 1911A1, SW 65, G19

Went to the woods and did a little bushcraft, made a fire.

Practiced my knots, figure 8 follow through, prusikk.

Practiced my one handed IA medical stuff, TKs, pressure dressings etc.

Bucked some firewood and split some too. Always.

Did a live, on the ground land nav/UTM exercise with a buddy, covered about 3 miles.

Thats about it for the week.

Just came in from getting more down in the garden. 1st plot near done. moving to 2nd this weekend depending on the weather.
Wife bought some bulk rice. We will be packaging for storage using the info gathered from these threads.
More ammo. Never enough.

I went to Lowe's today and bought 10 more food grade 5 gallon buckets with lids. They have them on sale for $3.45 per bucket. Lids were $1.45.

Then went to GanderMountain for some more 9mm and 5.56x45. My ammo cans are filling up nicely!

You getting any deals at the mountain. Every time we go there the prices are stupid high. A decent sale now and again but most times just crazy.

A little late i know but decided instead of doing a potted garden tilled up a plot behind the apartment and planned a few more things.

I am trying to give up soda, today is my first day of cutting it down. I know it sounds silly but I have been known to drink 10 to 15 sodas a day. So today is all H2O.

Good luck going cold turkey. Hopefully you won't have the caffeine withdraw headaches like I did.
