Ordered 3- 20 round Hexmags for bench/prone shooting. They're super cheap ($9 ea.) and have good reviews. Thought I'd give them a try.

Also ordered a Brownells low mass BCG for the new build. 8.2 oz.- 1/2 lb. vs. 3/4 lb standard BCG.... Sweet.

Ordered a Leupold Mark AR mount for the optic on my Aero build from Optics Planet.
Replacing the Primary Arms extended cantilever mount- Poor design and almost 4 oz. heavier than the Leupold mount.
Thanks to Ruger Ronin for the Leupold suggestion!

looks great, nice updates. i bought unfinished maple grips for mine before I received it (part of a trade), then realized it's an early version without removable grips that's what I get for being proactive impulsive

Picked up my first lever gun today. A Marlin 336 RC in 30-30. Looks to have been born in 1953. Needs a bit of TLC but is in good overall condition. Looking forward to sourcing a few parts and cleaning it up.
