I ordered a 9mm conversion barrel for my P226. I need some 9mm magazines. I found these dovetail OE mags at American Arms in Bloomington. Of course they are 228/229 mags and don’t fit. Guess I will need to buy a gun to fit them .

Try running your P226 using 9mm in the .40 mags. Mine runs perfectly well with the .40 mags and a factory 9mm barrel. It will even run with the .40 recoil spring but doesn't lock the slide back
