After reading about this period of history I find him fascinating. What he accomplished in battle is really mind boggling. You're really left wondering what would've came next?

I had a really great history teacher in 8th grade and I still remember him telling us about the Macedonian Phalanx.

Recent unsolved murder - Seth Rich.
Past unsolved murders that mean something to me - Carrie Croucher, November 12, 1983 in Seymour Indiana not far from my house. I knew both her and her husband David that was acquitted in her murder some 5 years later. I personally never did believe he killed his wife. A possibly related murder in Jackson County was Teresa Osborne, August 20, 1983. Both women coincidentally worked in the administrative offices of the same large firm.

Finally, my great grandfather, Stephan lost his little brother, Xaver, on the trip over from Germany to America in the October 1852 time-frame. The German records show that he left with the family at the age of 5, but there is no record of his arrival in the US. Unfortunately, the ship arrival records in New Orleans are part of a 2 year period of time missing from the National Archives. My best guess is that he either died at sea, or died on arrival in New Orleans, or was separated from the family on their travel from New Orleans up to Indiana.

Why is South Bend in northern Indiana?

It's the southern most bend of the St. Joseph river.
Fun fact. It was originally in Michigan. Some time ago the Indiana/Michigan border was moved north +/- 10 miles so Indiana could have access to a port on Lake Michigan. In return, Michigan gained the Upper Peninsula.

Anyone remotely interested in the real truth about JFK should watch this video.
You can form your own conclusions but these are eye witnesses. Many of whom were never called to testify or were never asked the specific questions that made their testimony relevant.

Maybe one day we will get justice for our slain president. Sadly the real killers and conspirators will be long dead and gone and will never face justice. Many I'm sure are in or were in our own government
