Picked this thing up at a gun store here on sale for $599 I thought it was a pretty decent deal so I hopped on it after my girlfriend convinced me that I need to buy one more gun before my surgery and other bills start piling up. So here it is the Smith & Wesson M&P 15 sport 2. I know it's not a colt or BCM but it's what I could afford and I love it!

Thank you all!! She's pretty awesome and definitely a keeper haha, she bought herself a ruger LC9s to accompany her M&P9c earlier that day, I'm trying to get her into rifles also, she will get her AR-15 soon enough :) I'm just glad she's hooked on guns also, awful for the wallet though!! She's on the hunt for a Sig Mosquito in FDE now :p

I bought one of those as well, and it is a great little shooter. I made a few minor upgrades (trigger, buffer/spring, buttstock/pistol grip, charging handle, compensator, red dot), and my gosh, she is really a great gun.

Congratulations on both the gun and your girlfriend!

I'd look at a 226 or a 229 classic in .22 before I'd buy a skeeter. Had one, and it was adequate, but upgraded to a "real" Sig for not very much more at all, and now have a .40/.357 centerfire conversion kit for it. This one is my "Mr. Potatohead" gun, and has a threaded barrel for the original .22 slide, and is usually shot silenced. It also has a streamlight flashlight/lazer. My initial investment in it really wasn't much more than the skeeter, but I sure have a little bit more tied up in it now. LOL.

Thank you guys for all the positive comments!! I hope to do a few minor things also to it!

Possibly Trigger (haven't messed with it)

charging handle with the large latch

    quad rail

i hated the A2 sight but it is growing on me so I may keep it

    sling

    an optic

    stock

and a different muzzle device and she should be perfect for me! But who knows I may love it the way she sits!!! I can't wait to take it out!
