Wallet stolen in Chicago

Cool. Looks like I already covered everything on that list.

Except the $1mil insurance policy to help you restore credit/identity when/if it's stolen. You ain't paying for the prevention. You're paying for the insurance coverage when you need to make a claim.

Getting a wallet stolen is a royal pain, sorry she has to go through this.

How was the wallet taken from her? Did someone go into her purse when she wasn't looking? Did she get robbed? May consider filing a police report unless she just accidentally left it somewhere.

I left my wallet on the train once. I thought I had put it in my pocket but I must have missed the pocket and left it on the seat. I tried contacting the lost and found at the number on their website, but it was gone.

No, not robbed. Lifted, or as you say, maybe misplaced, between Marshall Field and Rosemont. From the timing, probably downtown, maybe on the train or at Fields.
