I have my Utah license as well as my Indiana LTCH. If I am conceal carrying in Ohio is their anything I need to know? I realize that I am required to inform an officer if stopped, but I wasn't sure if there were other things to keep an eye out for. Thanks for any help.

Best method is to avoid interaction with our good friend Smokey. Max five miles over the limit. Do not call challenges, wave or offer a finger salute as you drive by. Don't bull rush Smokey either.

As Ma used to say, be polite and play nice. Won't have no trouble. :):

I understand avoiding any confrontation, but aren't I correct that the Utah license makes it legal to CCW in Ohio?

Yes. You are correct. Thats why hoosiers get it typically.

The biggie to watch out for is their "no guns" signs on businesses carry the weight of the law. (unlike here) You dont get trespassed there, you get arrested for not obeying the (properly displayed) sign.

I use the CCW app for my iPhone. You can enter the license for each state that you have in the settings and it will give you the information for any state and how your license apply. It also suggested another app called Posted Locations. It tells you places that are posted as anti-Gun. It has some pretty cool tools like an excuse generator. Some are pretty lame but every once in a while one is pretty good.

Here is one that I thought was pretty good.
    EXCUSE TYPE: Go somewhere else.

No mags over 30 rounds as well. I had no idea and had 33 round glock mags in the shtf bag. Lucky I had no Leo interaction before I found out, and I removed them when traveling through ohio now.
