Tell me more about this practice business
Well ya load your mags load them into your pistol rack the slide and shoot at the targets. Bang Bang Bang. Oh and try to be accurate while going as fast as you can and still seeing your sights. Something like that. Then we will time you just to add some more stress.
    Hope that helps.:D

Awesome man. If you want to be proficient with a handgun, join and shoot USPSA.

The more you practice the better you'll get.

For sure. Gotta get my confidence first. I looked at the option, might consider the lifetime, depending on the ammo availability.:D

My first match was a classifier match and I highly recommend it.

Tip: practice a lot of weak hand before the match.

Ambi here. There were even times where my weak hand was better.:n00b:

    That's what we all say;)

Come out and enjoy the fun!

I sure will, its fun to shoot.

The confidence will come. I spent most of my first year hanging out in the bottom two. Now I finish anywhere from top 1/3 to top 1/2 in whatever I shoot. Though, occasionally that bottom 1/3 rears its ugly head. You will find out real quick what you need to practice (that is if you like to practice...I'm one of those that do not :D)

Haha...same here. If you ever squad with me, I always baffle the RO when my weak hand is slightly quicker or on the same pace as my strong hand. (I shoot lefty because I'm left eye dominant. But really, my right hand is my strong hand...confusing...its the way I started and I'm too stubborn to switch :D)

I sure will, its fun to shoot.

Just be forewarned, it's like crack...once you take a hit, you will be hooked.

I'm hoping to knock some rust off tomorrow night. I found an indoor match in Crystal Lake, IL. I'm going to feel a little icky shooting that close to Chicago...:D. I'm planning on being there Sunday. Please, for Pete's sake, warm it up a little. It is down right cold in Wisconsin...Wow...I admit my "Stephanness" up here.

Normally, you know I'd be down...However, being my first weekend off, I have tons to do. I will probably be a "later" arrival Sunday as well :D. If I work local this summer, you know I'll be up to help out. :yesway:

I'm in. I'll bring my beater truck to haul stuff to the bays. Dalton and Oakes might be up for it also.

    I emailed them.

There's a reason most of the big names in this game live in AZ, or nowhere near the stupid midwest.

Good question. Every time I look, it gets worse. By Saturday, they'll be predicting the onset of another ice age for Sunday.

LOL...well my weather policy is...if it sucks or has a potential of sucking (cold/snow), I'm not coming (I'll shoot in the rain as long as it is above 50 and not lightening). I believe 2 years ago, Atlanta shot a classifier match with it snowing and the ground covered. It does make it tricky with those classifiers that have movement. If it is a stand and shoot, it shouldn't be an issue.

Will there be some type of notification either here or on the club web page if the shoot is canceled for any reason. I'm coming from 2+ hrs away and would hate to get there and find out I all by myself.
