USMC Hits The Ground Running

With the official end of DADT yesterday, the USMC went out looking to add to their numbers. Now they have an expanded pool to choose from and they're not going to miss out on the opportunity to get a new Marine in the ranks. Kudos to the USMC for being ahead of the curve! Guess the Sergeant Major was right, they're going to continue to be excellent. Maybe even fabulous.

Don't believe all the hype, recruiters aren't hitting the ground running to quickly these days. With the DOD budget, the fact that Marines almost always hit their numbers, and the unavoidable downsizing of the Corps these days there is no push to get a mob of recruits (gay or not).

*edit* However, if there was a push to recruit gays the Corps would get the most. On top of being the most handsome, we're just the best at everything.
