US military testing third arm to carry soldiers weapon

Having served an various type of Infantry I have a bit of insight, this robotic arm is going have to survive Sp-4 Snuffy and his team mate PFC Tentpeg in use and maintenance. The dash 10 manual is going to be at least an inch thick and more that a highschool education to read, pre op checks in the rain/cold will be a pure joy, if a part can be reinstalled backwards it will, the batteries or its power source will never be in stock or can't be shipped together or you didn't bring enough . I am reminded of a Big Bang episode where Walowitz brings a robotic arm for the ISS home and plays around with it, while having it give him a neck massage it dawns on him " It's just like a real hand " then a twinkle in his eye the next take is him calling Lennard asking how to get a robotic hand off this thingie.....don't you think that Sp-4 Snuffy won't figure it out while he is lonely on outpost duty. Simple solution is more PT.
