Update: NFA private sale

So I contacted the VA nfa branch with my title 2's serial and they have no record of the transfer...

Did my buyer screw up the paperwork/fail to file at all? Advice? He put a grand down a year ago, and I've been having trouble contacting him to inform him of what the atf has told me...

yep it takes about a month to go pending and then they have a record of the serials. sounds like you just made a extra 1000.

The forms are only good for 1 year after they are signed (I think)
