Just because he works there now doesn't mean that's where he came from, even UCLA might have some folks with some sense left.

Amazing what might come out of the media as it appears they are getting over their obamgasim of late. Who knows they might even resort to returing to the days when they were journalist and not just the an extension to the white house press corps?

The professor quoted in the article, Adam Winkler, wrote the book "Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America". From the reviews I've read on other gun forums it's apparently a good analysis of the subject and not at all what you would expect. It's on my list of books to read.

Winkler has a lot of good points about firearms and some that are totally wacky. Overall he is going to be more on the side of common sense than not. But not perfectly so.

Looking at his bio he was actually born and raised in LA and looking at the abstracts of some of his articles I can't tell what side he is on. I know he doesn't put much stock in Heller.
