its a calculated risk. more violence and war in the middle east would cost many times more than what this gesture of good will can do. obviously the iraq and afgan wars have cost billions in dollars and thousands of our brothers and sisters lives, you cant put a price tag on that, so I cant blame the administration for trying something else. as much as I hate that we are so deeply involved in middle eastern politics, its something that directly affects our security and economy. the israel and palestinian conflict is ground zero for making a difference...Im not convinced the mess will ever be resolved.

Are you all really surprised that the Hussein administration would fund the terrorist organization Hamas to the tune of almost a BILLION U.S. tax dollars while we are in the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression?

And is there really any doubt as to exactly what Hamas is going to do with this nearly ONE BILLION U.S. dollars?

If this sort of madness is allowed to continue, all of western civilization is doomed.
