Following. I'm surprised you had to be home to accept this delivery. We used New: Gun Safe Lights from Gun Digest - Gun Digest motion activated lights in Dad's home safe, and he is more than pleased. Not sure if there would be a better option in a moving vehicle with things moving/vibrating in the vault. I'll be interested to see what your set up is moving forward.

    Thanks for the light suggestion.
As for being home, they were very specific that they wanted me to check it out BEFORE accepting it from the delivery man.

This may seem like a dumb question. Is your work parking area and route to it covered by the parking lot law or not.

The mill finally accepts that parking is covered by the parking lot law.
I already have a pistol safe that I use for my carry pistol every day.
But, you have to be sure to disarm BEFORE leaving the vehicle.

:yesway: I think where your brother works is exempt (I may be wrong) I wasn't sure if you were too.

I have a Tuffy box in my Jeep that's similar to this. I love being able to keep my kit in there and not worry about it being broken into or warrantless searches by Johnny Law.
