For those of you who use Streamlight TLR7As, do you ever have problems with your front lens loosening during fire? I never noticed it in the daylight because it stays attached, but I've run a few low light courses at Parabellum and noticed that if I dont tighten the front cap after every stage, my light will turn off after about 40 to 50 rounds fired. I'm going to try some mild thread locker to see if that helps, but wanted to see if this is common or if I just got a lemon.

I have a plain 7 and no, I haven't. carry daily and regularly run matches with it. I usually only check it when I remember to turn it off to shoot (because my homemade kydex owb hits the button turning it on) and it's never been loose.

I'd try a low strength trick like a dab of rubber cement. (in the threads) Enough to gum up the works and cause resistance but not enough to prevent you from removing it.

Blue threadlock might be too strong and you could damage the bezel trying to get it off.

Get ahold of streamlight let them know. It might be a design flaw or you might have gotten a lemon. Send it in for repair or replacement.

I have a TLR7a and haven't run into this problem yet with mine. I have a few buddies with them as well and as far as I know they haven't had anything noteworthy wrong with theirs either. Keep us posted if you find a fix or reach out to streamlight please.

Rubber cement is likely to contain solvents that MAY be deleterious to the materials of the light. I'm not familiar enough with either product to know for sure one way or another - but it *is* something to be aware of.

If I were to go the route of a clue, I'd probably honestly start out with a little plain ol' Elmer's glue that kids use in school - and try that first. Or some PTFE thread tape.
