I think I may run a shotgun this month. If I can run two guns, I'll possibly shoot EDC as well.

Kimmi is sad because I told her that you can't shoot FNS with a Mosin.

The F in FNS will have a new meaning

    Frozen Night Steel.

The first FNS I attended two years ago it was 28 degrees. I have one tip above the normal dress warm.

During cleanup becareful not to let the steel touch you because the paint is not going to dry and you are going to get paint on whatever touches the steel. I only got it on my hands but that was by dumb luck.

Another tip (which I forgot last year); use LIGHT oil on your guns. I ran my normal oil that I use during the Summer, and my gun kept having failures to eject (slide moving slower due to rails being gummy). You wouldn't think it'd be that big of a deal, but with my gun being exposed to the temperatures (holstered), it didn't work worth a darn. My fault. Once I switched to something lighter, it ran 100%.
