I have looked around and didn't see a thread about the attempted terrorist attack in Texas (the drawing rights rally?). This is the difference between Paris France and Texas. France 13 innocent people dead and the bad guys got away (initially). Texas 2 dead terrorists and one friendly with a flesh wound.

    Good guys with guns prevail...

I read somewhere the winning entry was the two chalk outlines in the parking lot! Big Bravo Zulo to the officer, and prayers to the security guard for a speedy recovery.

There's an awful lot of gloating on fb about this. My take is that ISIS will learn from its mistakes and there are an awful lot of "gun free zones" out there for them to try their luck. Of course, some malls may not be as "gun free" as the management thinks . . .

I always wonder if they are really that dumb or not. I see too many middle aged guys wearing utility vests :-)

Malls might be gun free zone but they have professional security officers that carry around flashlights and walkie talkies... I mean that should deter terrorists, right?
