Mine isn’t a Scorpion but the 239 in 357 is a hoot to shoot. i think the fireball is better than the 229 But that might be in my head. it is a bit heavy and big for the capacity.

It felt heavy enough to be a soft shooter in .357 Sig. My Glock 23 gets a bit snappy when I run the .357 barrel in it but it’s maybe 10 ounces lighter

It seems like someone is liquidating their Sig collection. In addition to the P226 Legion I bought, there’s the Scorpion P239, a P229 in .357 Sig and an early satin nickel P220 in .45

The RXP slide came in for the 9mm 229 Elite today. I did a quick trip to MCFG and am really smitten with this combo

I really do need to replace those grip screws though. They came out of the spares bin from one of the LE trade in pistols I picked up this year. I keep forgetting to add a new set of grip screws to orders and I am too cheap to just order the screws and double the cost through shipping of just one little item like that.

I put another 100 rounds through the P229 with the red dot yesterday. What a great combination. It’s taking me a bit to get comfortable with the red dot again but this will be a solid combination for carry next spring.

Same here. I really wanted to EDC my P239 but its quite heavier than the P99c or P2000sk. YMMV. :ingo:

I'm on the fence about upgrading the P226 I picked up a couple of weeks back. As nice as it would be to go all out, I find that as delivered from the factory, it's pretty darned good. I'm not seeing a big difference in results when I shoot this along with my tuned Sigs.

i have been thinking really hard on tuning my p220. it's a dak. i probably won't now that i'm used to it. i MIGHT do the srt tune on the p229. but just love the way it shoots after the sig service

Anyone else switching from summer to winter carry? I'm going more from my P228 and occasionally P365 to MK25 and occasionally the P228.

I’ve done this too. I went from a P229 in 9mm with occasional Shield Plus carry while mowing and have begun to carry my P229 Legion and P226 both in .357 Sig. The P226 occasionally gets swapped out for a railed .40 P226 for no other reason than I just like them both

I often carry my P226 in a shoulder holster during the winter.
With (2) offside mags, it balances sweet ! :rockwoot:
I'm glad I'm not the only, love my shoulder holster, less wear on my lower back. It fits my MK25 unlike most of the other holsters made for it. And more convenient mag carry as well.
