I've heard some on the left say the Constitution is a living document that should be changed. This had me wondering what it would look like if edited by our current politicians. I believe the preamble would change from "We the people" to "We the Government". The three branches would be changed to three interactive and dependent branches:

    1) The Legislative branch would become the Enforcement Branch.
    - responsible for enforcing all laws and policies set forth by the Ruling branch and funded by the Revenue.

    2) The Executive branch would become the Ruling Branch.
    - responsible for regulating and running the nation.

    3) the Judicial branch would become the Revenue Branch.
    - responsible for collecting taxes and fines to fund the new government.

Sadly I believe we are already close to this. I wonder what the new amendments would look like.

When the "New Constitution" is being drafted, it is time to reassert the old Declaration of Independence.
