Went to the Lake Co Fair tonight and saw this in the 4-H building.

Excellent! Nice to see parents helping our youngsters understand that “ gun culture” is not a bad thing! Good for them...

I like it! The 4 rules on display makes it even better (in before Kirk)

We have a very active "shooting sports" club in the Fayette Co. 4H club. I'm hoping to get my Granddaughters involved in it as soon as they're old enough.

My daughter was in shooting sports for Newton County 4-H for several years. They did archery, rimfire rifle and pistol, and trap. Projects went from posters all the way to portable shooting benches.

Two of our Brown County 4-H Shooting Sports kids had their projects sent to the state fair. One was a poster the other was a wooden shooting cradle.
4-H shooting sports is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Definitely worth the time and effort. Watching a kid get into a proper prone rifle firing position and proceed to tear the black out of the center of a target....good stuff. Makes me smile every time.
