    Morning all

Spent the evening with daughter at the bench de-priming .223 cases. It was very productive. I kept telling her it was like a slot machine, except you win with every pull. She seems very interested in the process, which is nice to see in a 12 year old kid nowadays. Her interest wasn't something I was planning on, so it's adding another level of enjoyment to the whole experience.

TD, are you planning on wet tumbling or dry? I do either depending on my mood and patience. With .223, I lube, decap, size and trim, then wet tumble. With handgun, I tend to clean in a vibratory cleaner first, then just run them through the press. The residual rouge from the walnut media acts like a case lube when running pistol loads. It’s messy though.

I'd like a 1911 in 10mm for one of the very purchases in 2022 that I plan on making.

I'm a long ways away from funding that little endeavor.

    Love those grips 88.

GM all. Late bloomer; breakfast w/ Vin-meister and straight home to play on the bench
Thanks to Vin and T-double for making the Colt great again! She's a respectable pony now.

All removed bits (lpvo and such) will be used for the 14.5"er.
