Speaking of cleaning, I found this stuff for cleaning a 6.5 Creedmoor that I never used (sold the rifle before ever doing anything with it).

If anyone in here wants these items, send me a PM with your shipping info and you can have them. FOR FREE.

Found these 3M gel cups the other day on Amazon. They say they won't work for the Peltor Tactical 100 and Rangeguard earmuffs, but they will if you peel off the cups from the bases and glue them to your original bases. They were only $16 versus $51 for the "correct" ones. I also found another set of gel cups (PROHEAR) for my Howard Leight Impact Sport for like $19.

My 3M earmuffs feel 100x times better with these gel cups.

Whatchu need a .17 cal rod for?.
Mainly for the 457, but similar reasons for the other 22 rifles. Haven't been too thrilled with the Tipton .22 rod I've been using. It rubs the ejector slightly and doesn't give me that warm/fuzzy feeling going down the bore. Did a little research and seems like general consensus is that going with a .17 - .20 rod helps alleviate these issues. And CZ recommends it as well in their FAQ section.

Same. Been up since 4am. Felt like crap and thinking about all things gun cleaning.
Placed an order with Brownells, since they had all items I wanted. Bore Tech nylon brushes, Bore Tech Rimfire solvent, Tipton .17 cleaning rod, some Lucas CLP and a 457 bore guide. I feel better now. The 2 cups of coffee may have helped.
I take some responsibility in this.:)

So I'm not supposed to just spit and polish?

GM all. Coffee or murder. I have yet to dive into advanced cleaning techniques. I mostly use rods, but will run a snake if it's just a quick wipe down. Depending on the firearm, I clean after a certain round count. Some more thorough as I'm more comfortable in disassembly.
