I wanted to try one of the top of the line light/lasers from Olight, ax I've been impressed with their flashlights.
This showed up yesterday. It has a green laser, and the light output is monstrous (1350 lumens). It's replacing the 20 year old Inforce light on the left.

Spent a very nice afternoon at the range with 88. We had the range to ourselves and we had a much needed relaxed attitude.

I sighted in my FDE 300blk AR that I recently posted and moved on to the CZ 457 and concentrated on my fundamentals of rifle shooting. It turned out fairly well considering the wind was constantly going from calm to gusty and swirling in every direction in the valley.

    My mess of a bench...

Some of the results. 5 shot groups at 50 yards.

I just got the truck unloaded after a range trip with Tarzan. His bull barreled CZ 457 is a tack driver. I dialed in my Bushy 11.5 with a 1-4x lvpo and think that is one of the handiest rifles you can have for every day personal defense. I also sighted in my DPMS and am surprised at how accurate it is with the Hawke optic. It's a low dollar shooter but is fun none the less.

I also ran the 40P, CZ 1911, SP01 Compact, Phantom and a Rough Rider SAA clone. This was exactly what I needed right now

Glad to see I'm not the only one that has "reading glasses" on the Must Bring list.

    I mean - good shootin'!

I've been using an Olight SR2 Baton in my daily work for the last couple years. Its been dropped on every imaginable surface, regularly thrown into the bottom of my EDC bag. It continues to work great and the charge lasts forever.

I don't have a clue how many Olights I have. There's 4 in front of me, some in the gun room, range bags, basement, truck and a pile on the kitchen counter including some that haven't been opened. It's another of my many sicknesses.

I have a special offer for my CZ'icko friends. Evidently the Cool Hand (brand) grips that I bought for my CZ75 Pre-B do not fit on them. I should have read all of the reviews, as other people mentioned troubles putting them on older CZ's, and CZ clones.

Having Hogue grips on my Omega BD, I have no reason to keep them. I can return them to Amazon for refund, but if anyone can use them, they're yours for what I have in them .... $21.39

I bought them during the Prime Day event, and payed $19.99 plus tax for them. I see that they're back up to their more usual price of $34. They're nice, and I really wanted them to work .... and dress-up my Pre-B. Doggonit.

Speak up in the next 24 hours if you want them .... otherwise, back they go !
And it'll have to be when we meet at the FGE, or a range .... you couldn't pay me enough to go to the Post Office ! ;)

It really was a great range trip. It's always nice to shoot with friends and days like this really reinforce that idea
