The electrician presented his quote to bring my power pole to code, and restore full electricity to the cabin.
It was an ugly amount of $'s..., I about passed-out !

No new firearms for me ..... for quite a foreseeable stretch .

I feel your pain MM. The electricians will be here for two days this week for the kitchen rough in and the cost will be north of 3 DW Valors. With taxes due this week as well, I won’t be gun shopping for a while.

Can't believe I'm up too. The sunrise is pretty cool here. Woke up and went to the door and seen what I thought was a flock of geese in my backyard. Too many to count and they had too many baby geese in tow to count. Grabbed my laser pointer and they quickly made it back to the water. A buddy showed me that trick. Put the dot on them and they freak out and make a B-line to the water. Best geese removal tool ive ever experienced. Atleast 60 birds in my yard to zero in 5 seconds.

Quick question: After getting home tonight, I realized that I don’t have the scope covers for the .22lr I was shooting. Did anyone find an extra set of bikini scope covers laying around after I bolted? If not, I’ll double check my stuff as they may be stuck in a corner of a range bag or something.

Well gentlemen, I've had my 15 minutes of fame. If anyone heard it, I don't know. Periodically I call WIBC and "The Mock and Rob Show" when they play a bit I find entertaining or moving and I called a couple times last week. Lo and behold, in the last 1/2 hour of the show today they found both my calls worthy of air play. I was fairly flabbergasted to hear myself once, but twice was a real surprise.
