Get a Subie Outback. I've had 4 in a row - they are never ever in the shop and they return +34 mpg and haul a ton of stuff with the seats down. You can get into one for cheap in the "Premium" model - I've did that very thing in #2 & #3 -- however, I did jump to the leathered up "Limited " this time around on #4.

    You won't be disappointed.
I hear you, but I worked there, my dad works there, 4 brothers and sis in law, s well as a couple aunts and uncles work there…. Everyone in my family has a subie… I just couldn’t do it last time. Plus I need a little more umph to drive through some of the neighborhoods I work in. Need to make a fast get away sometimes.

    Ah, the bachelor's life.

If I'm forced to be a bachelor, I might as well enjoy it... ;)

Any CZers going to the NRA convention this weekend?

I just saw Kentucky Ballistics will be there. Watching his YT is one our family activities. My boys are super excited to go down meet him!

Yep, 88 and I will be there with some friends on Saturday. looking forward to it.

Must really be rough to be retired.....

    It is!

I headed to BCSP to ride the mtn bike trails again today. Found a tree across one trail and fell over backwards off of it to the down hill side trying to drag the bike over. F'ed up right leg and bruised my a$$. Towards the end of the ride it took three low speed fall overs (first one into briars) for me to figure out the new cleat on my left shoe had moved so I couldn't unclip to put my foot down. Got home bloody and bruised and just short of beatened.

Of course it was still better than working. :lmfao:
