Not sure how old the worksheet is that's in this photo, but it's hopefully pre-Heller. It's also obvious that the people who wrote it were raving morons. Sad that there are, or were, kids who had to have that lesson inflicted on them.

Apparently, distorting the facts is now the norm in our schools. The educators are willing to lie to the kids if that suits their agenda. Seems like our schools are going through a natural progression from once simply objectively teaching the subject matter, toward a more "amoral" approach (without regard for any code of morality), and now immoral (contrary to established moral principles), that is just lie to the kids if that's what it takes! This has been the natural progression of the educational system established by philosopher / educator John Dewey, whose system is turning out to be a huge failure. The schools are failing our kids, even worse. This needs to change.

Seems like our schools are going through a natural progression from once "unmoral", to "amoral", and now immoral, just lie to the kids if that's what it takes! It's the natural progression of system solidly established by the philosopher / educator John Dewey. Turning out to be a huge failure. The schools are failing our kids. This needs to change.

The only reason that we can see this so vividly right now is because of the hurried up 'outta time' pushing that the Fed is doing. Our children's understanding is being part of the 'Collective' as a way of life now...
This always leads one direction! Learn History People! It's like watching it in real time when you start reading the current news.

What's even more sad is that we have the right to take it all back, the skills and numbers, yet the overly too PC nature of our life is totally in the way. Sorry Mods!

Again, this is one teacher who very likely doesn't know any better using a book that was published 5 years before the definitive case outlining the individual right to bear arms.

The vast majority of people in the country don't know that Heller even happened, let alone what it was concerning. That includes gun owners.

This is one BIG reason - among others - that we home educate our children. School institutions by their very nature are training children to blindly accept what they are told. After all, if my teacher said it, it was printed in a book, and all of my classmates agree, it MUST be true.
