The model 60 was mine. I liked the heavy steel. What I do need is better grips. Something with rubber on the back, not just on the sides.

I prefer exposed backstrap, my dad and a couple of buds don't.
Bud has a 340 PD with small side rubber grips..........shooting with Corbons...........grips weren't a prob, the trigger guard bumping my trigger finger was. Nasty little gun.............and if they made it with adj sights and a 3" bbl I'd love to own one :)

Have you ever thought about a Tyler T? I've got one on my Model 66 snubbie and it makes it pretty comfortable to shoot even with .357 loads.

Updated post #1 with the following about the model 60

New problem. During the winter, I've been using an ankle holster. The 3 inch barrel just barely stuck out the bottom. No problem at first, because I was wearing hiking boots, the barrel just went against the boot.
But, first day wearing sneakers. OWW!
The edge of the muzzle smacked into my ankle.
I need to add some cushion to the ankle holster.
This wouldn't be a problem with a 2 inch barrel.

I want to try a Tyler T. I ordered one on 3/28 and have not seen it yet. So if you order one be prepared to wait awhile. I am not getting nervous yet because I knew they ship slow. Jim

WOW! What a great report. Thanks so much.
    The variety was awesome!

    Thanks.
I'm surprised the photos were still here since I deleted those photos and folders from photobucket, then deleted my photobucket account.

    And surprised you found it.
It's been 2.5 years since last bump.
