I have to say my soul is cleansed after seeing Ted Nugent last night in Owensboro. High energy show start to finish. If given the chance I recommend getting out to see this guy if you can handle that type of music.

He definitely has about the most energy on stage that I've ever seen. Great show when I saw him many moons ago.

I saw him at Louisville palace years ago, I seriously thought the roof was going to collapse it was so loud! Even with earplugs my ears were still ringing the next day. Great show, though.

I've seen Uncle Ted many times and have always enjoyed it thoroughly. First concert my young (at the time) sons ever went to. First song my oldest learned to play on his guitar (and sing) was Cat Scratch Fever when he was about 13.

Makes me a bad parent I guess.

I saw him twice back in the mid to late 1970's in Indy.
Both great shows.

No, I think old age caught up with him.

Met him at the LGS I was working at in Michigan, he hung around and talked to everybody, had his wife and band with him.

Ted had a buddy of mine and his daughter out to his ranch in Texas for a exotic hunt. My buddies daughter got to take a few exotic animals. He said Ted was a great down to earth guy, they stayed at his house for a few days. Said his house was just a simple ranch style house. But he did own a lot of land there in Texas.

Saw him and The Amboy Dukes perform in Sept. 1971 at a SMALL hole in the wall in South Bend. Was sort of my pre-bachelor-party party. I did not drive for a reason that night. Was and 3 feet from Uncle Ted thru the entire show. Don’t remember a lot except I had fun.
