I read an article today about the supposed "threats" than Dems have been getting. The article quote Mark Potok of the SPLC (he thrives on this stuff), who, of course, claimed that anyone unhappy with the Democrats was merely a racist Nazi.

(I guess Mr. Potok has never read the definition of National Socialism)

If there is one thing that you can say about Potok - it's that he is predictable. He drags out the same tired screed every time he gets media play.

It was great. About 3 dozen people and several open carriers. In fact 4 Springfield XD's all in bitone were there as well

3 dozen sounds right. No Visclosky though, darn. There was a nice dummy in a suit, that got tarred and feathered with maple syrup and pillow stuffings. A guy open carrying stopped to see what was up, he hung out and talked for a while, pretty cool to see someone stopping like that, he's unhappy with Obamas plan and he's got a 357 on his side .

Some decent response from the traffic going by, at that same place last summer there had to be over 200 people there protesting.

i dont throw around the medals ive been awarded in peoples face but let me tell you i am damn proud of them, and i wanna hear someone have the balls to call me a nazi, in my own country for exercising my constitutional right to free speech and protest!

They beg and cry to us SOLDIERS for help when they are scared or feel threatened, but when they feel a false sense of security, they mock us and spit on us!

when they need us, the "first time flag flyers" come out of the woodworks, and EVERYONE is SUDDENLY a Patriot and a PROUD American. but after things have died down and they go back to their sucky lives they start bashing us soldiers again and calling us nut jobs and assuming we ALL have PTSD so we should be regulated somehow and conditioned to fit back into the society that WE PROTECTED!! (they realy have no idea how great they have it, even being homeless and free is better than oppression and wealth)

I have never begged for the military to do anything nor do I ever put down the military for doing what they are ordered to do. I am glad that we have as large of a military as we do and think we should keep it as powerful as possible at all times to defend our country. However, I do not pay a lot of attention to people who feel entitlement for serving if they volunteered to join the military. Now, we all should support our troops and back them 100% and at no time do I think it is right to do what some protesters are doing or what happened often after Vietnam.

Just want to let everyone know , I had a GREAT time yesterday. I live in a VERY lid town and its good to get out and about with like minded people for a change. Everything went GREAT. I was hopping for more people , but was very happy I was not the only one that showed up . I was there at 3 and started getting scared at about 3:30 when i was still the only one there. Phill showed up around 3:35 and made me feel a lot better. The phone pics I took came out rather well . I will be posting them .

Nice meeting you too and I'll keep posting events as they come up. The next big one if April 14th in Valpo at the square. Last year there was 1,000+ people at it. They are expecting a lot more this year.

To post a pic, right click on the pic from where it is hosted and select "copy image location" or "copy image link" and paste it pop up when you click on the picture icon in the bar just above the area you type into. Picture icon is a small box with yellow background and mountains on it. Bam, thats it.

When pasted it will look like
