Support For Assault Weapons Ban Hits Record Low

Support for a so-called assault weapons ban in the U.S. just hit a record low of 36 percent, according to a new Gallup poll released on Wednesday. The poll showed that 61 percent of American adults now oppose a ban. That level of opposition is the highest ever recorded

She's quite the operator. She will claim a mandate, attempt some actions, then claim that it has no hope of getting through Congress, and then publicly blame Republicans/midwesterners/gun owners/anyone who doesn't toe her line.

For her it is a win-win: not do anything and then take credit for "trying."

That is, unless she sees a real opportunity, like if the Senate goes Democratic.

The country could roar(like it did with Obummacare) and she'd still say 'its just a bunch of right wing agitators...90% of people support this(based on some 30 yr old survey that was suspiciously worded to garner the desired responses). Voila, it passes like Healthcare reform does.

I'm pretty sure we will see the return of the AWB, high capacity magazine ban, etc. This time they will close all the loopholes we used during the last one. I look for them to do something crazy with our ammo. Who knows.... What really sucks is the seat(s) opening on SCOTUS. These bans could last until we are all old men or already taking our dirt nap.
