    When you put it back on, use the appropriate grease. The wrong grease can attack the aluminum (it's the graphite, among other things, I believe).

    Aeroshell 33MS grease is good to go (and a tube lasts forever for most folks). Still using the tube I got from https://www.skygeek.com/ over 10 years ago.

    Anti-seize is what I use AND no extreme torquing. Steel nut on threaded aluminum combined with a gorilla strength and no anti-seize is a recipe for disaster.
