    [STRIKE]SPF[/STRIKE] SOLD

    Stevens Model 87A, .22 S, L, LR, auto-loading / single shot, tube fed rifle.

No serial number. 23” barrel length. Bore is shiny. Rifling is strong.

This is the much-ballyhooed “Gill” or “Click-Clack” gun. This rifle was manufactured from 1938 - 1968.

This rifle was test fired and the rifle works in the single shot mode, there is a problem with the cartridges being lifted into position for the bolt to drive them into the chamber. The bluing is strong, but starting to turn to a nice overall patina.

Deficiencies: Feeding issues, maybe a weak spring.

$100 cash. No trades at this time.

A face-to-face meeting will be set up with the person buying this rifle. If I don’t know you, your driver’s license and LTCH will be reviewed with no information recorded. I’m willing to travel up to an hour from Brownsburg to make this deal happen.

Great looking rifle. That stock looks immaculate.

I have one that was left to me from my F-I-L.
BTW, these will fire both .22LR and .22Short. (Shorts fire in single shot mode only.)
